The Graduation Day Ceremony of Sharada Mandir School, Miramar, Panaji, was held on 11th June 2015 in the Secondary School hall. As in the past, Sharada Mandir has achieved hundred percent results in the ICSE Board exams for Class 10. This achievement is due to the efforts of the Sharada Mandir School team, under the able guidance of the Management, the Administrator Mr. Oscar Gonsalves, the Principal of the school, Mrs. Sharmila Umesh and the dedicated staff. The school sent up 150 students for the board exams, 121 got Distinction, and 29 got First Class. 63 students got above 90%. Master Pratheek Rebello, scored 98.33%, standing First in school as well as in Goa. He is the recipient of the Sharada Mandir Trust Gold medal. He stands 4th in the All India ranking for ICSE Board. The Silver medalists are: Master Aditya Sawant and Miss Mugdha Sanil with 97.17%, and the Sharada Mandir Trust Bronze medal is bagged by Master Neil Khera with 96.8%. Dr. Vikram Patel, the co-founder of Sangath was the CHIEF GUEST at the function. Dr. Patel figures in the Forbes Times list of 100 most influential people in the world. He gave away the awards to the graduating students which included the Chairman s Special Award for academic excellence. In the first ISC Board Examinations, 21 students appeared in Humanities and Commerce streams. 17 students scored Distinction, 3 scored First class and 1 got Second class. In Commerce, Master Vividh Deorah stood first with 92%, Naitik Jain second with 91.8% and Darren Dias third with 90.4% In Humanities, Daniel Philip stood first with 91.8%, Tamsin Noronha second with 91.6% and Nikita Tavares third with 90.4% The Chairman, Mr. Dattaraj V. Salgaocar presided over the function while the Vice-Chairperson, Mrs. Dipti Salgaocar, presented a memento to the Chief Guest on behalf of the school and Management. The welcome address was given by the Principal and the vote of thanks by the Administrator. The Vice-Principal, Miss Auria Fernandes, listed the achievements of the meritorious students.
