Events

The Sports day of the Senior School, was held on the 30th of January 2010,on the Sharada Mandir School grounds at 8:30 a.m. The occasion was graced by the presence of the Chief Guest, Mr.Vishwajit Rane and the Guest of Honour, Mr. Mahesh Gaonkar.

The Sports Meet began with a Caribbean drill by std 7, to welcome the chief Guest. The March past by std 8 ,9 and 10 students was a display of discipline and pride..The Sports Meet was declared open by Chief Guest. This was followed by a Triple Wonder Drill by std 6 students, which included   Acrobatics, Pyramids and Gymnastics .The Chief Guest spoke on this auspicious day with his inspiring words, thereafter  std 5 displayed an amazing  Drill ‘Incredible India -The land of Bravehearts', choreographed by our school dance instructor,Mr. Snaden Shawn.

Athletic events such as 80 mtrs, skill races, Shuttle Relays, slow cycling  Tug-O-War were held, wherein competitors gave their very best to ensure that their House made it to the top.

The day also included events for parents and ex-students who were very enthusiastic and participated eagerly.

Finally, the prizes were given to the winners of the events which were as follows:

The overall Championship was bagged by Richa Kantak of std 6 and Kashyap Keni of std 10 in the girls and boys category respectively. Green House was awared the best House The Best March Past Parade was awarded to the Green House and 10A won the best Class, for the same.

The P.E. teachers truly deserve credit for the grand success of this event
