Sharada Mandir - Temple of learning: where nationality, community, status and gender all merge into an ocean of learning experiences, conducted in an atmosphere of mutual respect and camaraderie.

As the Principal of this vibrant institution since May 1994, I have experienced both, the highs and the lows that are intrinsic in the captaincy of a vessel of such exciting complexity.

Ours is a true laboratory of learning - we meet together, we talk together, we sometimes agree, we often argue, we ask many questions, we encourage each other to find answers; we laugh, we weep, we sing, we dance, we act, we play and from every experience and experiment, we Learn. We run a school that is of humans, for humans and by humans and so we do not claim to be perfect - but we do aspire to excellence and with that as our goal we will move consistently forward, battling odds and building on our strengths. It is with this in mind that in June 2008, the stewardship of the School was entrusted to three ‘heads' - the Nursery & Elementary Section to the Administrator Mr. Oscar Gonsalves, the Junior Section to Mrs.Eunice De Sa and the Secondary Section to me. This set-up has given each of us more time to devote to the respective sections, while at the same time maintaining the intrinsic fabric of unity that is so vital to any progressive institution.

With a dynamic Management, a dedicated staff, eager students and supportive parents, Sharada Mandir School is a 'happening' place - we invite you to share our hopes and aspirations and to help us realize our dreams for the future.
